"Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved... Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows." ~President Thomas S Monson

24th of July
We went to Sand Hollow with some friends for the 24th this year. It was a beautiful overcast day but we ended up getting effected by the Swimmer's Itch they have there! We had a MAJOR mud fight, but sadly no pictures were taken becuase we were all involved!! The kiddos had a blast!!

My Sweet Cason 'feeling out' the water!

Usually doesn't take long before Colby is
chucking kids in the air!

Brenden DID NOT want to get thrown!!
He faught so hard to get down!

Colby finally um...put him down!

Brenden getting ready to go for our boat ride!

Caleb & Cason wataching us as we pulled away!

Once we got going Brenden LOVED the boat!
He wouldn't help Jason drive though!

Cason pouting when we got back becuase he
really wanted to go on the boat.
Poor kid didn't get a chance because he
started itching soo bad!

Colby relaxing in MY chair!

Sweet Cole

Just look how grown up he is!!

Who needs a boat when you have a T-Bone for a dad

Colby and Jason throwing the football like real men!

Poor guy! He cried and itched soo much!
He actually started walking barefoot across the
burning sand crying "I go home now....I go home now"

We got home and Colby noticed the HORRIBLE job
I did spraying sunblock on his back!
(I think it's hilarious)

This poor kid was asleep at 6:00 and didn't move!

KNEE BOARDING
So I know that I am getting older every year that goes by.....but I have never felt older than when I attempted to knee board! In my defense, I had never done it before and wasn't clear on what I was supposed to be doing so the majority of the time I was "tummy boarding". By the time I realized what I was supposed to do my arms were jell-o and I couldn't pull myself up even if I tried! I have never been a "water person" I prefer the mountains and 4-wheeler scene but I have to admit, even though I made a total fool out of myself I had an absolute blast!

ECLIPSE!!
We went and saw Eclipse last night with some of our good friends! I still don't remember how exactly we got them to wear the shirts but they did! Me and Janiece went to 2 different WalMarts a while ago to find these. We bought puff paint and glitter to make Edward Sparkle! The girls were TEAM EDWARD and the guys were TEAM JACOB!! We wanted to go during opening weekend but it was actually a little funnier going once it had been showing for a week!
We went to dinner at Outback and the girls just giggled when they opened the door for us. We went to ColdStone for dessert and got a bunch of stares. We also made them to into Target with us, we ran into some people from our ward!! It was hilarious to watch peoples faces as we walked by....no one paid me attention to me and Janiece they were just staring at our husbands! As we were checking out a girl asked if she could take a picture and told us she had been following us around the store!
When we got to the movie theater Kody told the ticket lady we were going to watch Toy Story 3....she just sat there! The lady who sold us our tickets told Colby he was a good sport to dress up becuase most husbands were all pissy when they bought tickets to the show, I tried to tell her that the shirts were the guys idea and we were the ones going along with what they watned. I don't think she bought it!

Someone asked if Colby was "Team Jacob" he said
"That's what it says on my A$$"

He really is a good sport! I sure love him!

TEAM EDWARD

TEAM JACOB

For some reason Colby wouldn't take 1 step closer
to Kody for these pictures. Like it would have made
him look gay or something.....go figure!

LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING!!
So, get some popcorn and a soda becuase you are going to be here for a while!! I took 6 days off work and I enjoyed every minute of it! I took almost 200 pictures but for the sake of my sanity I did not post them all!
I tried to make the most of the time with my boys since I have to work! I have put all the pictures from the entire week on the same post but will kind of seperate them so you can see the fun we had!!
Fun with a $13 pool!!
I took my boys to Hurst's my first day off and we got one of these stupid little plastic pools for them to play in! Some of the neighbor boys came over and hung out with us!!
Cason, Chase, Brenden & Tagger

I love that my kids will let
me take pictures of them like this and that
we moved by other kids that will do the same!!
AWESOME!!

"Wanna take a ride on my Little Green Tractor"

Colby's 'throw together' Party
Colby turned 31 during my vacation! Me and the kids decided we needed to decorate while he was gone at work. We ran to the Dollar Store and spent $5 on decorations and the best brownies in the land! Right in the middle of decorating Colby showed up so I made him stay in the garage and act surprised when he came in which was fine for him becuase that mean the could play with his 4-wheeler

YAY!!

The fun table! The boys picked out the decorations!

These look like pretty shabby brownies.......
but they are the best you will ever have!

all 31 candles

Got them all the first try!

Night #2 of the Gunlock Rodeo
Friday night at the rodeo I swear I saw everybody I know!

We found Aunt Krissy there!

2nd attempt to catch a chicken!

Once again...he thinks the bulls were going to get him!

One of the "quick little boogars"

Cason got to go for a ride on Kody's legs!
Way cooler than on my legs!

Birthday Lunch!
My parents always take us to lunch at Pirate Island Pizza for all the grandkid's birthdays and Red Lobster for the adult kids birthdays!

Me and my Peeps!

Such a sweetheart!
He was so sad when everybody was coloring
and he couldn't find his menu to color!

And you DO NOT bother this kid while
he is coloring. It's serious business man!

My Beautiful Folks

Nothin' like poppin' open a cold one!

This kid is a no nonsence drinker!

CHUG!! CHUG!! CHUG!!

Colby and baby Cole!

Circleville for the fireworks!
After lunch at Red Lobster we drove up to Circleville for the rest of the weekend! We got there before the fireworks so we sat outside on the cool deck and waited for the show!

Cason chose to ride a horse while we waited!

Me and Brenden however decided to take
crazy pictures of ourselves!
Sweet

Silly

Kissy

Scary

Lovey

Family 4wheeler Ride to Doc Springs
Since Colby got his new 4wheeler I have been dying to go for a ride as a family! We borrowed his dad's and took off! We didn't go as far as I would have liked becuase there were some mean looking storm clouds coming over the mountains! But we sure had fun!

The mountains were just beautiful

Love dark clouds next to blue sky!

Colby and Brenden rode up together!

Me and Cason got to ride the new bike!

Another shot!

Brenden switched so he could ride back with me!!

The view of Circleville from our trail!

Fish Lake for Colby's Birthday lunch!
Colby's parents wanted to take him to lunch at Fish Lake to their friends restraunt up there! We got to drive in Dakota's new truck and the boys were pretty excited. After lunch we got to take a Pontoon out on the lake! It was bar far the funnest thing! I was hoping to stay out a little longer and maybe see some wildlife on the shore but Spencer got a little "sea sick" so we cut the trip short!
They just couldn't stay awake on the ride up!

Cason and Uncle Bear!!

For some reason I had to sit at the kid table!
So I figured I'd show you my view....
The tables started out farther apart,
but I slid them closer to feel a part of the group

Any guesses why we call this kid PEEPERS??

He loves his olives!!

Here are my boys playing on the marina!
This was before we knew we got the pontoon!
We were all just happy skippin rocks!

Here is Dakota chillin' on the back of the boat!

Birthday Boy drivin'

My kids with Pop and Grama Rachel!

He couldn't stop looking at the water

Me and my boys!!!

This mountain pretty much goes straight up!
You can sometimes see Moose and Bear on the shore....
but we saw nothing!

Cason being Captin for a bit

This is by far my favorite picture!
It leaves me speechless.....I don't even know
how to begin to comment on it!

Captian Birthday Boy!

Dinner at the Ranch!
We were invited to the "Bracken Ranch" for family home evening my last night of freedom! We went straight there on our way home, I got us lost....but we found it! It is beautiful! They have coyotes and turkeys in their fields all the time!

We hadn't been there 5 minutes and my boy
gets out of the truck and immediately picks a spot
to pee on their bushes! I was embarassed but everybody
just laughed and said "That is welcomed here"

The kids went to the creek to catch tadpoles and
we had a horse that wouldn't leave us alone!
Nicest horse ever, Shayler named him Oreo!!

The horse seriously would not move!
Janiece was putting all her weight into pushing him
and he just stayed right with us!

After we found tadpoles we actually caught
big toads....ick!

Here is our truck that got hit with a paintball on our way home from Veyo! They got us and our 2 friends that were travelling home too! Great fun for the kids to have a cop come to our houses and a great lesson that even if they think something is fun they can get into serious trouble. Brenden said "mom, I don't even want a pain gun now" HAHAHA
