CHRISTMAS 2009!!

Beware....this is a long post! I can never decide which pictures to not share with people, so you usually get them all. I did hold back on a few! I love Christmas time and we had fun this year in our new house! And both kids were old enough to understand what was going on and how to enjoy it! It was just a wonderful Christmas!!!!

We spent Christmas at home this year! We went to my sisters house Christmas Eve for dinner, games & family presents! It was fun. On Christmas Day it's tradition that my parents take everybody to a movie. This year it was Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakqual! It was adorable & the kids LOVED it!

NATIVITY NIGHT!!

For the last few years my dad has been a part of the Live Nativity at Tuachan. Last year he was a soldier, but this year he was a Wiseman! Oh ya, he's been promoted!! We took our boys and my cousin's kids! We had a blast! It was a lot colder than last year, and I didn't have a chance to change clothes so my feet were frozen for the first time in my life!! (for those who know this about me, I wear flip flops every day..even in the snow)

Another thing that was cool was Santa Clause was there! Which is great for our kids because we attempted the Mall Santa and left the line after 5 mintues because my kids were being so horrible!

Also, after the show we got to slip around the side of the stage and see Papa in his costume and give him hugs!

My cousin's oldest son leaned over at the beginning and told me he had never heard the story of Jesus' birth!
So I sat there telling him and his sister the story as it played out and I kept getting choked up as I spoke....it was really neat! I'm definately in the Christmas spirit now!!
(but sad too, that they had never heard it)

WORK CHRISTMAS PARTY!!

Our department went to Chili's for our Christmas Party this year. Not everybody made it, which was sad but we had a blast!! I forgot my real camera so I had to use my phone...so the pictures aren't the best but we really had fun!

NEW MOON!!

I finally went and saw New Moon. I don't like fighing crowds and seeing people dressed up so for movies like the Twilgiht series I usually wait a week or 2 before going. For Girls night we got a group of us together and went to dinner and then to the movie! Not everyone was able to make it (and we missed them) but those who did come had a blast!!

The movie was awesome! I think it's important to remember that no "movie" is ever going to capture the emotion and description of the "book". I went into the movie with that expectation and was very pleased. I disliked the book because Edward was gone for 90% of it (yes I am team Edward becuase Jacob is Bella's "son-in-law" people....ick) but I LOVED the movie!
