"Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved... Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows." ~President Thomas S Monson

MY BIRTHDAY
For my birthday we got to go to Cedar to see some of Colby's family and go to the Cedar Bull Sale! I wish I would have taken my camera into lunch! We had so much fun. We went to Applebee's with us and Colby's dad and Pop & Grandma Rachel. I love them so much and it was great to see them on my birthday.
Then we went to the bull sale. What words can I use to describe it...well, see the pictures below, they speak for themselves.
When we got back to town I got to....take a nap!!! It was wonderful. We went to my little sister Janea's wedding reception and then shopping for some more birthday presents. Colby took me to dinner and then our boys climbed into bed with us and we went to sleep!
It was a fun, fun day!

Me and Colby on our way to Cedar.

Colby showing Cason the HUGE bull!
It was really massive!

In case nobody has been to a bull sale.....
this is what it looks like. Farmers making notes
in their little book on all the different bulls.

He's pointing to the bull (nothing else I swear)

Why are pictures of little boys on a
fence so dang cute??

Pop and Grandpa bought 1 bull....but we bought 2!!

So here are my presents.
I got a new TV for the living room, the Twilight DVD, Elk Summer Sausage,
an ankle holster for my gun, a new pair of shoes (that you can't see coz
they are in front of the TV), some candy, a new purse and a new
cuddle blanket with a horse and a monkey on it.
(Brenden is my horse and Cason is my monkey
so it was pretty perfect for mommy's birthday)

DINO DAY!
Me and Colby both had the day off so we decided to run our children ragged! We took them to the Dinosaur Tracks @ Johnson's Farm. They had so much fun. It was so crazy to see all the different types of tracks, fossils, and different types of things that were found right here! Brenden couldn't believe that he lives where Dino's used to! They have some neat videos to watch about what St George was like back in the dino days and they teach the children (and adults) how these tracks were formed. The coolest tracks were the Swimming Tracks. I didn't get a good picture of them but it's from their claws scrapping the bottom of the lake while they were "fishing".
I can't believe these tracks were found in 2000 and this is the first time I went to see them. Colby did all the drywall work while they were building it. He actually said some of the fossils were so large and heavy they had to build the building around them becuase they wouldn't have been able to get them inside once it was done!
I totally recommend taking your kids here, especially if they are obsessed with Dinos! Well worth every penny we spent!

Oh Yeah Man! A T-Rex footprint!

I can't remember which dino made this track,
but it looks cool!

This sheet of tracks was HUGE! This was my
favorite thing to see.

We got to see a Raptor Skull!

This is a close up view of the Raptor Skull!

MOMMY'S DAY OFF!
So becuase all my doctors were on vacations with their families for Spring Break my boss was nice enough to let me have a day off! It was awesome! Me and my boys had an absolute blast! I can't believe that we did as much in one day as we did! We did a little shopping then took Papa lunch at the Bus Yard. The boys were in heaven with all the buses and tools and big boy stuff. We took a tour of the bus yard on a little golf cart thingy!
After that we went and visited Aunt Brandy and Brenden gave her a "Thank You" gift for helping him get to and from preschool each week! Then we took "bubblies" to Aunt Nina & Aunt Alicia at their work. After we visited with them we came home and watched a movie then they helped me fix sandwiches and we went to the park with daddy and the Swammy Girls!
It was the best day off!

Eating Wendy's with Papa!

Cason helping Papa eat a chicken nugget!

Papa and his boys!
(once again..I love Cason's smile)

Just being boys and exploring!

The bus Papa was working on was a handicapped bus
(no Ammon, it wasn't yours)
So he took the boys for a ride on the chair lift!

It was soo much fun for the boys!

Here we go on our tour of the bus yard!
We drove through the obstacle course the bus drivers do!

Cason and his daddy watchin' kids at the park!

I asked him to smile!

I asked him to "be cute"

Mama's boys!

Here goes Brenden....

....and now Cason!

Brenden wanted to be a bull behind the fence!
Cutest bull I've ever seen!

Now I have a bull and a horse!

Even I got in on the playing!
Colby scared me so bad on this thing!

My Beautiful Baby!
(and people thinks he looks like Colby)

Love him!

See...Colby had to play too!

Alicia took this awesome picture of my family!
Absolutely adorable!

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY
This is my attempt at being cutesie! My sister gave me the idea of using food coloring to change the color of country gravy! I was going to make the potatoes green too, but I still had to bring myself to eat the stuff! My kids absolutely loved it! It was fun!

MY APPOLOGIES
I am not even sure if anybody even visits my blog! But in case anybody does I would like to applogize for how long it has been since I blogged last. I think I just did 5 or 6 posts tonight. We have been busy house hunting and trying to recover from the whole family being sick for weeks! So, if you want to see them all....just keep on scrolling down until you've seen them all!
SUNDAY AFTERNOON
We stayed home from church because I was so sick and the boys were still getting over the plague that has fallen upon St George. They were such good boys that they earned some toys from their basket! They wanted to paint. Brenden had picked out a T-Rex Dino and Cason...a horse of course! It was so fun to sit back and listen to them painting together!

The finished products...OK OK...mama helped!
MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY!!
We went to the park and had a BBQ for my mom's birthday. My cousin and his family showed up and we had a lot of fun! It was a beautiful day!

Colby and my cousin Jason

My Sweetie!!

Cason being Cason

Papa cooking burgers...what he does best!

This..sadly is the only picture I have of
Brenden awake. He got a high fever and really sick.

He spent the rest of the time there asleep
on a picnic table using our jackets for a pillow!

Me and Trina!!

Colby climbing the wall to help Cason down the slide!

MY BEST FRIEND

This deserves a post of it's own. For my mom's birthday we went to this park Brandy took us to. It's the funnest park ever, and everytime I've gone Colby has been M.I.A. either shooting his bow, up in Circleville, or working! I have been dying to get him on this spinny thing since my first time there. I finally get him on it and he makes it about 3 spins and digs his feet into the ground and stops.
SISSY KA-TISSY

Getting set up....

...I'm getting excited to see my
beloved fall flat on his face.....

...absolute disbelief that he couldn't do it....

...Colby trying to convince me
I didn't marry a wimp.....

...oh well, I still love the guy!!
